Here's what you need to know...
A COMPLETED OREGON RISING STAR PROJECT APPLICATION WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING - TO BE COMPLETED BY THE STUDENT
LETTER OF INTEREST - 1.) Describe how they relate to at least one aspect of the mission (found on the application) using specific examples from your life and experiences and 2.) Explain why they are interested in being involved in a production of ORSP version of The Drowsy Chaperone.
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION - Written by an adult who is not a member of their family (i.e. a teacher, employer, or advisor)
AUDITION FORM (CAST ONLY) For cast applicants a completed AUDITION FORM should also be submitted at auditions—if you mail in your application in advance, bring a completed copy of your AUDITION FORM to your audition appointment.
Students must be between the ages of 15-19 at the time of the ORSP start (June 20, 2020)
INTERVIEWS AND AUDITIONS
If accepted to participate in the auditions, students will be required to attend the auditions during the Oregon Thespian Conference held at the Elsinore Theatre in the first weekend of April. If a student is not participating in the conference they are still required to attend auditions that weekend and make arrangements for transportation.
If students are invited to an interview, interviews will be held on February 29, 2020 at the Elsinore Theatre in Salem.
